History

The Matrix Trilogy Screensaver project started in 2003 and is still being updated from time to time. Everything begun when I saw a trailer for The Matrix Reloaded movie. Based on this trailer I made following simple screensaver:

An enthusiast and musician Dave Champagne (enigmahack) noticed this and joined the project. He was able to inquiry the Animal Logic (makers of the actual movie special effects) to get all the necessary graphics and prepared great glyphs for use in the screensaver. The programming was then pretty straightforward, most of the time we spent perfecting the rendering parameters and behavioral curves. Today I work on the screensaver only very rarely; mostly when there is something that needs to be fixed, or after a flashback of my original enthusiasm.
