Just wondering if I could get a hold of the source so that I may add this feature, or perhaps you could add this option to a future release. B.t.w, really like the screensaver, by far the best matrix code emulator I've seen yet :) Re: Changing the lettersAuthor: TringiTo replace certain or all characters is possible, but these are stored as 54 fixed textures or special format. I see no reason to put different textures into official release of the screensaver, but if you are really interested in having your own special version please provide more details. I see no problem in letting the source codes out, but they get really complicated over years so you would have to be experienced programmer in order to decipher them. If you want to send a different release to me with this change; please send to info@cerebral.com.au. But I don't expect you to do that. Rather, I was hoping you could send me the source so I can change it myself. I am a trained computer scientist and I'm also familiar with 3D graphics such as OpenGL. I'm also aware of the nature of evolving programs and how the code can end up looking at the end of the process. So if you could send the source to the previously mentioned address I would really appreciate it. Re: Changing the lettersAuthor: TringiI think that this could be accomplished without even need to recompile the screensaver. The character textures are just stored in resource part of the executable, so you can easily replace them using tool such as Resource Hacker. I just emailed you one simple tool (of my friend) for converting my format to others mostly used. I also sent a simple classes for manipulations with this format in case you will need them.
