Ive been searching for a decent matrix one for ages (esp. seeing at the official one sucked ass). I can't believe how accurate your code is to the movie one. Hope that the work on the screensaver continues and that you complete it faster (esp with all the cool things you meantioned with all the extra bits like making the code form a pic or play along to your music). Our one has fully smooth animation, this can be seen better if you set lower speeds. To archieve this, it use lot of CPU and graphics hardware resources. If your CPU or GPU get hot, turn on the "reduce hardware usage" checkbox on the "properties" page. The only down side is that it completely freezes my computer and I have to wait for approx. 5 mins for it to come back to normal. The screensaver is also very slow and doesn't return to desktop with mouse movement. I also like that you can change teh colors. although I am not quite sure exactly what some of the effects are ( I have absolutely no idea what the "superman" effect does) this is the best matrix screensaver that I have seen. All the effects are practicaly built on what happens to the code in the movie and named by the event that is happening at the time. So the Superman effect is seen on Link's console when Neo is flying very fast at the end of Reloaded.
